Digital Licensing System Launched for Tourism Businesses in KPK

PESHAWAR, September 2025 — In a major step toward digitizing governance, the KPK Culture & Tourism Authority (Tourist Services Wing) has officially launched a digital licensing system tailored for key players in the tourism sector. The move aims to streamline operations, reduce red tape, and promote transparency across the industry.

Under the new system, businesses in the following categories must obtain their licenses digitally:

• Travel Operators / Tour Operators

• Rent-a-Car Services

• Hotels / Restaurants

• Guest Houses

• Tourist Guides

Now, applicants no longer need to visit offices in person to collect physical licenses. Instead:

• Log in to the BMIS portal at http://175.107.63.137
• Or scan the QR code on the official circular
• Once approved, the digital license will appear on the dashboard, complete with a QR code and digital signature to ensure authenticity and secure verification.
