Ushu River

The Ushu River is a stream located in Swat District, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. It has an elevation of 1,960 meters. The river is situated nearby to the town of Kalam Valley and the village of Boyun.

It is close to several localities including Karandukai and Jalbanr. There are also several landmarks in the area such as Desan Mountain, Rustam Sar Mountain, Anshai Mountain, Ushu Sar Ridge, and Godar Dhand Lake.

In addition, it is part of the hydro resources in the region. For instance, the Artistic II Hydropower plant pulls water from the Ushu River. This shows the importance of the river not only for the local ecosystem but also for energy generation in the region.
