Bara Bagh Cemetery
Bara Bagh Cemetery is an ancient cemetery located in Lasbela District, Balochistan, Pakistan. This cemetery is the final resting place for the rulers of the Lasbela princely state, containing more than 100 graves, of which 40 belong to the Jams.
The cemetery is situated about eight kilometers away from Lasbela and is known for its historical significance. The graves include a variety of tombs, such as those constructed with burnt bricks, Chaukhandi-type graves, and graves under pillared canopies. Notable burials include Ghulam Qadir Khan (1920–1988) and Jam Mohammad Yousaf (1954–2013).
Unfortunately, many of these tombs are in a dilapidated condition. The site is a significant part of the cultural heritage of Balochistan and reflects the historical legacy of the region.
