Delhi Gate Lahore
Delhi Gate is one of the gates of the Walled City of Lahore located in Lahore District, Punjab, Pakistan. It was built by Mughal Emperor Akbar. It is situated to the east of the city wall and adjacent to it is the Kashmiri Gate. Since this door was facing Delhi, it was named as Delhi Door. In ancient times, it was considered to be the busiest area of Lahore. While on the left side there is the most beautiful royal bath which mesmerizes the visitors.
Within the gate are several historic buildings, old streets and Landa Bazaar. The historic Wazir Khan Mosque is also located inside this gate. The old mansions here surprise the visitors. While there is also an important Hindu monument, Shawala Baba Bukar Guru.
