Iqbal Manzil

Iqbal Manzil is the birthplace of Allama Muhammad Iqbal located in Sialkot District, Punjab, Pakistan. The nine-marla three-storey building has been declared a national heritage site by the government of Pakistan.

But this house came under the share of his brother Sheikh Ata Muhammad. While in Sialkot it was another house of Allama Iqbal’s father which came under the share of Allama. In 1971, the government declared the birthplace of Pakistan’s national poet a national monument. The government of Pakistan bought the house from the descendants of Sheikh Ata Muhammad.
