Pir Lasura National Park
Pir Lasura National Park is located in Kotli District, Kashmir, Pakistan. It was declared as a national park in 2005. The park is spread over 5,625 hectares (13,900 acres).
The park is known for its diverse plant species, including A. modesta, A. julibrissin, and M. himalayana. These species are part of the 159 species of vascular plants found in the park, belonging to 83 different families.
The park is also home to three species of vulture: the near-endangered Himalayan griffons (Gips himalinus), the endangered Egyptian vulture (Neuphron percnopterus), and the critically endangered white-fronted vulture (Gips bengalensis). This species is distributed at an altitude of 560-1530 meters above sea level. The most common species in the surveyed area was the Himalayan griffon, followed by the white-rumped vulture and the Egyptian vulture.
