Nara Desert Wildlife Sanctuary
Nara Desert Wildlife Sanctuary is spread across the districts of Ghotki, Sukkur and Khairpur in eastern Sindh, Pakistan. The wildlife sanctuary was established in 1980. It covers an area of about 6,300 km2.
It includes desert landscapes, agricultural zones and wetlands along the Nara Canal. With rich biodiversity, it is home to the largest population of chinkara gazelle, striped hyena, honey badger, and the largest population of endangered Mugger crocodiles in Pakistan.
