Sheikh Badin National Park, the KPK government has approved the construction of roads.
For tourist access to Sheikh Badin National Park, the KP government has approved the construction of roads from Dera Ismail Khan and Lakki Marwat. Sheikh Badin National Park Located at an altitude of 5416 ft in Sheikh Badin Village of Dera Ismail Khan District. The park is home to 65 million years old rock formation from the Cretaceous Dinosaur Period. It is also the home of the olive trees from the Mount of Olives in Jerusalem.
Dera Ismail Khan is home to the Sufi Saints and also rich in archaeological sites like the British HQ of Derajat Division. Sheikh Badin National Park is an airy place in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The park covers an area of 15540 hectares. It was established in 2003. A tourist huts facility is also available here. It is also worth mentioning that in the last month, the Govt of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa also decided to build roads in the tourist destination Kamrat of Upper Dir district.
