Mochi Gate

Mochi Gate/Mochi Darwaza is one of the gates of the Walled City of Lahore located in Lahore District, Punjab, Pakistan. The original name was Moti Darwaza after a guard Pandit Moti Ram during the reign of King Akbar. However, during the reign of Ranjit Singh, this name was changed to Morchi and then Mochi became famous. And now it is known by the same name.

The Mochi Door area has been a center of culture and industry since ancient times. There are also some famous Havelis of the Mughal era, among which Mubarak Haveli, Nisar Haveli, and Lal Haveli are worth mentioning.
