Lakhwal Dam

Lakhwal Dam is located in the village of Lakhwal in Chakwal District, Punjab, Pakistan. It is located at Lakhwal, twenty kilometers northwest of Chakwal city on the Nila Road.

Lakhwal Dam Waterfall

This dam also has its own waterfall, which is worth seeing. Since this waterfall is seasonal, and can be seen after the dam has been filled. Rainy days are the best time to visit, but it is better to view it from a distance; otherwise, there is a risk of slipping.

There are no mountains around it, while the water in the lake comes from a few drains. The purpose of building this dam was to provide water to the surrounding villages, but the project proved to be a failure, and to date, it has been unable to provide water to agricultural land. This lake is now being used for tourist purposes.
