Islam Barrage

Islam Barrage is located on the Sutlej River in Bahawalpur District, Punjab, Pakistan. The Islam Headworks was built from 1922 to 1927 to provide water for a large amount of land. The structure is part of the Sutlej Valley Project, and its purpose was to supply water to canals on both sides of the river.
