Ankara Park is located in Islamabad, Pakistan. It is a serene urban retreat that beautifully symbolizes the enduring friendship between Pakistan and Turkey. Located near Rawal Lake, this 23-acre park was inaugurated on March 20, 2005, by the then-Mayor of Ankara, Melih Gökçek, as a tribute to the sister-city relationship between Ankara and Islamabad.
