Azadi Museum – Wagah Border
The Azadi Museum or Tehreek-e-Azadi Museum, also known as Nawa-e-Rehbran, is located at Wagah Border, Lahore District, Punjab, Pakistan. It is a significant cultural and historical site located near the Bab-e-Azadi gate at the Wagah Border.
This museum was created with the efforts of the Dabistan-e-Iqbal organization. Inaugurated on January 2, 2017, by then-Director General of Pakistan Rangers (Punjab), Major General Umar Farooq Burki. The museum was established to honor the nation’s struggle for independence and the sacrifices made by its heroes.

Freedom Movement Gallery
Showcases rare portraits and photographs depicting various phases of Pakistan’s independence movement, highlighting the pivotal roles played by leaders like Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and Allama Iqbal.
Rangers History Hall
Dedicated to the history of the Pakistan Rangers, this hall illustrates their contributions and sacrifices in safeguarding the nation’s borders.
Media Library
Offers a collection of films and documentaries related to the freedom struggle, providing visitors with an immersive educational experience .
The museum’s name, Nawa-e-Rehbran (Voice of the Leaders), was proposed by renowned writer Anwar Maqsood, reflecting its mission to educate future generations about Pakistan’s rich history and the heavy price paid for freedom.
