Cutchi Memon Graveyard

The Cutchi Memon Graveyard is located at the end of Barnes Street in Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan. It is a historic cemetery known for the graves of Jews. These graves are located to the right of the entrance to the cemetery and form a rectangle covered with shrubbery. Some of these graves are more than a century old, while others date back to the first half of the 20th century. The headstone on one grave has the deceased’s information written in English and possibly Hebrew, but the writing is so faded that it is difficult to make out the text.

Unfortunately, these graves are fast disappearing into the soil. A visit to the Cutchi Memon Graveyard offers a unique opportunity to explore the rich history and cultural heritage of Karachi.
