Daman-e-Koh Park
Daman-e-Koh Park is located in Islamabad, Pakistan. It is also a renowned hilltop garden and viewpoint nestled within the Margalla Hills National Park, just north of Islamabad, Pakistan. Its name, derived from Persian, translates to “foothills,” aptly describing its location at approximately 2,400 feet above sea level—about 500 feet higher than Islamabad’s city center.
Daman-e-Koh offers panoramic views of Islamabad, including landmarks like the Faisal Mosque, Rawal Lake, and the Parliament House. On clear days, visitors can even glimpse the distant Salt Range. The area is adorned with terraced gardens, shaded walkways, and observation telescopes, enhancing the visitor experience. A popular trail also leads from Daman-e-Koh to Pir Sohawa.
