Darya Lal Mandir
Darya Lal Mandir also known as Darya Lal Sankat Mochan Mandir is located in Karachi South District, Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan. This Hindu temple is located near Custom House, Saddar Town.
The temple is about 300 years old. It is dedicated to Darya Lal (Jhulelal), who is considered to be an incarnation of Varuna Deva. The temple was built using limestone and Jung Dhahi stone. It is 40 feet wide, 40 feet long and 40 feet high. 40 blue snakes are painted on top of the temple.
In 2015, the temple was renovated as part of the Eduljee Dinshaw Road project. The facade of the temple was brought from India and the dimensions of the temple were maintained during the renovation. The temple has significant religious significance and hosts Lord Hanuman and Lord Ganesha in addition to Darya Lal (Jhulelal).
