Dudipatsar Lake
Dudipatsar Lake is located in Mansehra District, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. It is located at an altitude of 4175 meters in the extreme north of the Kaghan Valley. And it can be reached by a four-hour journey from Jalkhad, the Naran area.
In the local language, Dudipat Sar means a lake with white water like milk. But the color of the lake is not white as milk, but it is blue, in fact, the reflection of the adjacent snow-capped mountains in the water makes it look like a milky river from a distance. This is probably how it got its name.
This enclosed lake is surrounded by beautiful snow-capped peaks. Accessing here is a very difficult task. Access to this lake is possible only by trekking for at least 7 to 12 hours through very difficult gorges.
