Fairy Meadows

Fairy Meadows is located in the Diamer District, Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan. It is 3300 meters high and the most beautiful place to see Nanga Parbat. The name was given to the place by Willy Merkl, head of the 1932 German-American Expedition. It is a lush field between the forests hidden in the mountains.

Located at the base of Nanga Parbat’s north face, Fairy Meadows is a lush green alpine meadow offering a surreal view of the snow-covered summit. It is one of the most beautiful camping and trekking spots in Pakistan and is a designated National Park. The site is famous for its tranquility, starry nights, and stunning natural beauty.
