Fort Munro is a serene hill station located in Dera Ghazi Khan District, Punjab, Pakistan. At an elevation of over 6,470 feet, founded during the British era and named after General John Munro. It serves as the only summer retreat in southern Punjab.

The town is surrounded by pine-covered hills, cool breezes, and occasional snowfall in winter. Due to its pleasant climate and scenic views, Fort Munro is often called the “Murree of South Punjab” and is a sought-after destination for tourists seeking respite from the summer heat.
