Haleji Lake

Haleji Lake is located in Thatta District, Sindh, Pakistan. Haliji Lake is located 80 km from Karachi on the national highway. It was built by the British authorities as a safe reservoir during the Second World War.

The diameter of the lake is about 22 thousand acres and is 18 kilometers. Millions of migratory birds used to make temporary shelters during the winter.
