Hazara University Jamia Masjid
Hazara University Jamia Masjid is located in Mansehra District, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. The mosque also known as the Jamia Al-Malik Abdul Aziz bin Abdul Rahman (Islamic Center), was built in 2015 in Mansehra. It is located on the Hazara University campus and was constructed after the 2005 earthquake. The mosque serves as the central Jamia Mosque for the Hazara university.
The Contemporary Masjid is characterized by its simple and minimalistic design. Instead of elaborate paintings and ornamentation, geometrical patterns, calligraphy, and verses from the Holy Quran. The only calligraphy used in the mosque is the writing of the names of Allah inside circles on the veranda. The floor and walls have a unified design and color scheme, with gray marble and white cement used in the arcades outside the mosque.
