Karakar Tunnel

Karakar Tunnels connect Buner and Swat Districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. It is a 2.1 km long tunnel approved in mid-2021 and is currently under construction. The tunnel crosses Karakar Mountain of the Hindu Kush. This tunnel will shortcut the 11 km long distance of the Karakar Pass to 3 km.
