Lahore Zoo Safari

The Lahore Zoo Safari, also known as the Lahore Safari Zoo is located in Lahore District, Punjab, Pakistan. The zoo was initially established as the Woodland Wildlife Park in 1981. It was extensively renovated and renamed Lahore Zoo Safari on January 21, 2009.

The zoo covers a land area of 242 acres (98 ha). It houses a variety of species including the African lion, Indian peafowl, Bengal tiger, common pheasant, emu, mute swan, nilgai, ostrich, and silver pheasant. It also features the largest walkthrough aviary in Pakistan, boating and fishing facilities near a lake, and safari tracks in the lion and Bengal tiger areas.

The zoo is managed by the Punjab Wildlife and Parks Department (PWPD) and the Zoo Maintenance Committee (ZMC).
