Merewether Clock Tower
Merewether Clock Tower is located in Karachi District, Sindh, Pakistan. Built in the 19th century in memory of Sir William Merewether, the Merewether Tower stands as a prominent Gothic-style clock tower and city landmark at the end of M.A. Jinnah Road.
Once considered the main intersection where all key roads converged, it served as a navigational guide for travelers arriving by sea. With its elegant stonework and lofty spire, the tower continues to be a visual emblem of Karachi’s colonial history. It is a favorite photo spot and a key stop for those exploring the city’s historic Saddar district.
