Mohabbat Khan Mosque

Mohabbat Khan Mosque is located in Peshawar District, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. The Mahabat Khan mosque is a magnificent example of 17th century Mughal architecture. What sets it apart is its breathtaking use of vibrant hues, grand arches, intricate roof designs, and symmetrical patterns.

The main area in the mosque has a deep arch. The inside of the mosque is decorated with different sized panels that have paintings on them. The walls and ceiling have beautiful paintings of flowers, leaves, vases and other designs. The verses from the Holy Quran are also beautifully written. The decoration was probably redone to look like the original design in the early 1900s.
