Mohenjo-Daro Museum
Mohenjo-Daro Museum is located in Larkana District, Sindh, Pakistan. This museum keeps the treasures of the ancient city of Mohenjo-Daro.
The walls of this two-story plain brick museum have beautiful paintings of various animals. Which attracts the viewer at the first glance. The museum is located in a very hot area. Therefore, the building is simple. Its walls are also made of plain bricks without lime and color. All small objects are placed on the upper floor while the ground floor is left open for maps, photographs and large objects.
The museum displays seals, statues, utensils, statues, beads, and ornaments including earthen bangles, rings and buttons found in Mohenjo-Daro. Bird-shaped earthen whistles, earthen jingles, scales and various weight units.
The earthenware includes bird-shaped whistles, round jingles, round and square pans, and tiny cages. Scales and various weight units, very narrow-mouth small basins, chariots and carts are also included. Apart from these, bracelets, bronze and copper headbands, sports pieces and many other small items are also part of this treasure.
