Roshnai Gate
Roshnai Gate is one of the gates of the Walled City of Lahore located in Lahore District, Punjab, Pakistan. This gate was the main entry point for rulers and other nobles during the Mughal and Sikh eras. As the Ravi River flows along the northern wall of the Lahore Fort and the Badshahi Masjid, the gate was well-lit at night for the convenience of travelers. For this reason, this door is named Roshnai Darwaza (Gate of Light). It is considered to be the oldest gate. And it is the only door preserved in its original state.
