Architectural Features

Construction Period

According to a Persian inscription above the main entrance, the tomb was constructed in 967 A.H., corresponding to 1560 CE.

Structure

The tomb is a square edifice built using burnt bricks and mud mortar. It is crowned with a hemispherical dome that rests directly on the square base without a visible drum, giving it an inverted bowl appearance.

Entrances and Ornamentation

Each of the four sides features a segmental arch entrance. Above these arches are rectangular panels adorned with intricate cut-brick ornamentation, showcasing geometric designs and wavy lines. Additionally, a series of small arch panels, also crafted using the cut-brick technique, embellish the façade, creating an ornamental frame around the structure.

Plaster Remnants

Traces of lime plaster are visible on the square structure, though the dome itself shows no signs of plastering.
