Souna Guzara Forest

The Souna Guzara Forest is located in the Mansehra District of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. It lies to the west of the Kunhar River and is adjacent to the Kamal Ban National Park. The forest was officially designated as a protected area in January 2022.

According to its conservation status, it is designated as a Gozara forest, a category under KP’s forest management system where local communities have limited use rights (e.g., for timber, grazing) but cannot clear trees without government approval.
