State Bank of Pakistan Building
The State Bank of Pakistan Building is the headquarters of the central bank of Pakistan, located in the Karachi South District, Sindh, Pakistan. The building is situated on the I. I. Chundrigar Road, also known as the Wall Street of Pakistan, is the heart of the financial district.
The building was designed by renowned Pakistani architect Habib Fida Ali and completed in 1972. It is a 23-story high-rise with a unique triangular shape, which symbolizes the stability of the State Bank of Pakistan.
The building houses the central bank’s offices, as well as a museum that showcases the history and evolution of the banking system in Pakistan. It is a significant landmark of Karachi and an important symbol of the country’s financial sector.
