Tea Plantation Shinkiari

Tea Plantation Shinkiari or Shinkiari Tea Garden is located in Mansehra District, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. It is spread over 50 acres. It is the first tea garden in Pakistan where black and green tea is grown.

Shinkiari is a region which is known for its tea plantation. The tea produced in Shinkiari is known for its unique taste and high quality. The climate and soil conditions in the area are favorable for tea cultivation.

The National Tea and High-Value Crops Research Institute (NTHRI) in Shinkiari conducts research on tea cultivation, including developing new varieties of tea plants, improving cultivation practices, and promoting sustainable production methods.
