The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Government has decided on a revolutionary initiative to promote tourism.

The Provisional Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to make small dams recreational destinations.
Initially launched a project to make 5 dams tourist destinations.

The project includes:

1. Kundal Dam Swabi

    For the development of facilities for tourists, 3 sites measuring 40 Kanals have been identified.

2. Jalozai Dam Nowshera

    For the development of facilities for tourists, 2 sites measuring 150-200 Kanals have been identified.

3. Thanda Dam Kohat

    For the development of facilities for tourists, 2 sites measuring 100-150 Kanals have been identified.

4. Chhatri Dam Haripur

    For the development of facilities for tourists, 2 sites have been identified.

5. Jhangra Dam Abbottabad
