Revamped Muhammad Ibrahim Joyo Auditorium Opens in Karachi

Karachi – The newly renovated Muhammad Ibrahim Joyo Auditorium was inaugurated.  It is located under the premises of the Liaquat National Library in Karachi. The grand opening was graced by the presence of Caretaker Education Minister Sindh, Rana Hussain. Sindh Culture Minister, Dr. Syed Junaid Ali Shah was also present. The renovation, decoration, and expansion project has breathed new life into the auditorium. It is now a must-visit destination for culture and arts enthusiasts.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by several dignitaries. These included the Consul General of the United Arab Emirates, Bakheet Ateeq Al Remeithi. The Sri Lankan Consul General, Jagath Abiorna was also present. Secretary of Culture Sindh, Abdul Aleem Lashari, and DG of Culture Sindh, Manwar Ali Mahesar were also present.

The auditorium is named after the renowned Sindhi scholar and writer Muhammad Ibrahim Joyo. It has always been a hub for cultural activities in the city. The recent renovation and expansion project has further enhanced its appeal. It is now an even more attractive venue for various cultural and educational events.
