The Moenjo Daro Safari heritage tour will operate from Saturday, 31st January to Sunday, 1st February 2026, offering travelers a historic journey through Sindh’s ancient culture and iconic sites. The tour is organized by the Culture & Tourism Department, Government of Sindh, and includes meals, accommodation, and a guided heritage experience.

Departure and First-Day Highlights

The safari departs early from Karachi Cantt. Station at 09:00 AM and heads toward Sehwan Sharif, where participants will visit the holy shrine of Hazrat Lal Shahbaz Qalandar. After sightseeing, the group continues to Larkana, arriving in the evening for dinner and a musical night that celebrates local culture.

Explore Moenjo Daro’s Ancient Wonders

On Sunday, 1st February, the tour focuses on Moenjo Daro, a UNESCO World Heritage Site dating back over 4,000 years. At around 08:00 AM, travelers will explore the archaeological ruins and the onsite museum. A guided heritage tour provides insights into the ancient Indus Valley Civilization‘s urban planning, craftsmanship, and cultural achievements.

A breakfast session at the site is also included before departure from Larkana Railway Station at 01:30 PM. The safari returns to Karachi Cantt. at approximately 07:00 PM, completing a packed itinerary of culture, history, and adventure.
