Batura Glacier
Batura Glacier is located in Hunza District, Gilgit Baltistan, Pakistan. It is one of the largest and longest glaciers outside the polar regions and is about 57 km (35 mi) long. The glacier flows from west to east and feeds the Hunza River in northern Pakistan, then joins the Gilgit and Naltar rivers before flowing into the Indus River.
Four of the seven longest glaciers in the world outside the North and South Poles are in Pakistan. In which the second place is Siachen Glacier (76 km), Biafo Glacier (67 km) is on third place, Baltoro Glacier (63 km) is in fifth place, and on the seventh is Batura Glacier (57 km).
