The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has decided to hold a two-day Brugel Festival.
On the special instructions of Chief Minister Mehmood Khan, the tourism department started preparations for the festival.
The festival will be held on September 5 and 6 at Brugal National Park, Upper Chitral. The festival will feature competitions in local traditional sports in addition to Yak Polo and Biz Kashi. Exhibitions of traditional music and local food will also be an important part of the festival.
A tent village set up for the convenience of tourists and participants. Various aspects of ancient and unique Wakhi culture highlighted in the festival.
On the direction of Chief Minister Mehmood Khan, all the preparations and arrangements for the successful conduct of the festival will be completed in time and all possible facilities will be ensured to the participants and tourists of the festival.
