Jaglot Valley
Jaglot Valley is located in the Gilgit District, Gilgit Baltistan, Pakistan.
Between Jaglot and the “Skardu Turn” comes that unique place where the Himalayas, Hindu Kush and Karakoram Mountains come face to face. Because, here the Gilgit and Indus Rivers meet and this confluence of rivers defines the boundaries of the mountain ranges around them.
The Himalayas extend from this point to Nepal, where their peak, Everest, is the highest mountain in the world, while in Pakistani territory, in addition to the peak of this range, Nanga Parbat, Koh-e-Murree and Koh-e-Margalla are also included.
